You may have noticed, but the Sword Art Online Wikia doesn't offer many Sword Skills for anything other than rapiers and one-handed straight swords. Which is fair enough, given that it's just not fair to expect Reki Kawahara to make so many skills. Unfortunately...that means there's not a lot of variety to choose from when creating a character. For this reason, Above and Beyond allows users to create their own Sword Skills. HOWEVER! They must be submitted in a response to this thread before they will be allowed. Over-powered Sword Skills will most likely result in being asked to recreate it. Please do your best to make sure it's possible for a human to perform (Like with a big stick!) unless it is a purely system-assisted skill (Like Spinning Sheild or the like).
When submitting, tell us the name, weapon, number of hits, pattern of hits, and pre-motion pose. Please apply if you want a Unique Sword Skill, and Admin will decide whether or not to allow. If so, your character and tag will be used to identify who owns each Skill.
List of Non-Canon Sword Skills
Gradient: Two-handed longsword skill. Three-hit skill. A diagonal sweep from the hip upwards, then a horizontal slash followed by a vertical downwards slice. Pre-motion consists of holding blade by non-dominant-hand-side hip with blade parallel to the ground.
Murder Stroke: Skill for all compatible weapons. One-hit skill. Weapon is flipped so that the blade or haft is held rather than the handle. The pommel is swung like a bat into the foe's head. Stuns foes.

Avenger: Skill learned by Zinnia. Played by Electronic Ink . A five-strike attack consisting of four alternating vertical and horizontal slashes finished by a high leap upwards and a devastating downward stab. Pre-motion consists of holding blade at an oblique angle above one's head.
